Finally -- a good, comfortable, clear headset

We bought and returned 4 different phone headsets before we finally found the MX500C. We started with one of those bluetooth earpieces with the microphone right next to your ear. The problem with those is that the microphone is too far from the mouth to pick up your voice without also picking up all the annoying background noise. It also cuts in and out all the time. Most people only care what their earpiece sounds in their own ear, but nobody tells them that they sound terrible on the other end. The MX500C is great because the microphone comes down right by your mouth. It has a wind screen to cut down on wind or A/C noise in your car. It fits on different sized ears and is very comfortable to wear. The only drawback is that it's not wireless, we can sacrifice having a wire for comfort and sound quality.

Good sound, great windscreen. Attention sports users

I've bought almost a dozen of these for personal use and for friends. Don't worry about the odd (non-over-the-ear) design, it's very comfortable, especially if you wear glasses. The sound quality is good, in fact better than any cordless (i.e., Bluetooth) headset I've used -- and I've used many.

However, what keeps me coming back is the incredible windscreen this unit has! I'm a cyclist and I can use this headset while riding! Other than breathing harder, no one can tell I'm zipping along with a 20 mph wind in my face. This is the ONLY headset I've ever set that works in full wind. I'm sure runners and other outdoor sports users would enjoy it just as much. Since it works so well with glasses, you can wear the MX-500 and MX-510 with your sunglasses, too.

The only downside is build quality is just so-so. Specifically, three problems:
1.) the ear piece swivel can snap. This can be fixed with glue, but the unit can then only be used in one ear.
2.) the two-piece housing for the ear piece can split, rendering the unit useless.
3.) the rubber facing that goes in the ear can separate from the earpiece by peeling back, which can be trimmed.
Be aware that the above quality issues came up during heavy use while cycling, so more gentle and occasional use may never see this issues.

Other than some build issues, this is likely the best non-professional corded headset ever made (the stalwart Plantronics "StarSet" holds that title in the professional category).

I don't work for Plantronics or anything (my review would be better if I did!) but I used to sell telecom equipment about a decade ago, so I'm picky on my components' performance and quality.

Excellent Headphone

I have used a headset for my home for many years. In the past, I have always chosen a over the head style of headset because I know that it will always fit and be comfortable. I chose this style for a different perspective and I am very pleased. It is easy to put on and there is hardly any adjusting needed once in place. I am also very pleased with the audio quality on my end as well as on the receiving end.

Fast and Spacious

The Kingston 8 GB microSDHC Card works flawlessly with all my memory card readers: Kingston Mobilite, Kingston microSD Card Reader, and SD Card Reader. Windows (XP) has no trouble recognizing it as a removable drive.

- Device Compatibility
Using a microSDHC to MS PRO Duo Adapter, I am able to use the Kingston 8GB microSD in my Sony Cybershot DSC-W170 Camera -- it works like a charm; the camera has no trouble capturing pictures and videos (at a frame frate of 30 fps and a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels). All of my devices, such as my Garmin nĂ¼vi 360 and my HP iPAQ 111, are able to recognize the full capacity of the SD card.

- microSDHC Format
microSD cards of 4GB or larger are known more specifically as microSDHC cards. This 8GB Kingston card is therefore a microSDHC card. Beware that some older devices are NOT compatible with the microSDHC format. Such devices will only work with microSD cards with capacities of 2GB (such as this Kingston 2GB microSD card) or less.

(The technical specification for the SDHC/microSDHC format supports capacities ranging from 4GB - 32 GB. microSDHC cards of 16GB, such as this Kingston 16GB microSDHC card, is the largest capacity available as of this writing.)

- Class 4 Speed
This SD card is rated class 4 (data transfer rate: 4 MByte/sec, or 32 mbps) - sufficiently fast for the majority of electronics. A decidedly small number of electronics, most notably some camcorders and high-end cameras, require a class 6 SD card (the fastest transfer rate as of this writing). Transcend makes one that's rated class 6.

- Frustration-Free Packaging
Kudos to Amazon for their Frustration-Free Packaging efforts in using only recyclable packaging materials and in keeping the amount of packaging used to a bare minimum. As a giant in the e-tailing industry, Amazon's move will no doubt serve as an impetus for getting the rest of the e-tailers to follow suit!

The Kingston memory card is compatible with devices that support the microSDHC format. It is a fast (class 4) memory card with plenty of storage. Definitely recommended if the specs meet your needs!

Works for BlackBerry 83105

I didn't see any reviews for this product, so I wanted to let you know that the 8GB (7.4GB usable) works on my BlackBerry 8310.

Interestingly, although the BB showed 8GB with the new card, I only saw 4GB (3.2 or 3.4GB usable) when I first connected to my laptop and the computer asked to format the card when I enabled Mass Storage Mode (I used this mode to drag and drop into the BB). I could only see 4GB on my work computer as well.

However, after standalone reformatting the card (to FAT32) on my friends Compaq both of my computers (and phone) now properly see it as an 8GB card. My computer and phone information is below.

laptop: Win XP Pro w/ 4.2.2.12 BB Desktop Manager
work computer: BB desktop manager 4.6.0.12 with win2k pro
phone: curve 8310 with firmware: v4.2.2.170 and AT&T as provider

I'm looking forward to using the expanded storage.

Works Like a Charm

I bought the Kingston 4gb micro SDHC card for my Blackberry 8830. At the current time, my particular Blackberry cannot accommodate a card larger than 4 gb, due to OS software that is not yet up to speed. The Kingston card is every bit as good as the more popular brands, with the exception of having a lower price. Be aware that using the included SD adapter is great...HOWEVER, if your laptop or desktop SD reader is not rated to read HC (high capacity) cards, then you may not be able to view the contents of the card or make changes using your computer(s). This happened to me, so I purchased a $10 USB SDHC card reader, and now I can use these higher-capacity cards in both my older laptop and desktop SD drives. Of course you can transfer data via a direct connection with your cell phone, for example, but it usually takes longer to do it that way.

One of the dongle for flashing mobile phones, especially Nokia phones, is the MX-Key. Dongle made by Mualimin, an Indonesian citizen has a pretty powerful capabilities and reliable.

Besides easy to use, the MX-Key also provides other conveniences, which we provided the facility to download the firmware directly from the software interface. Nokia X7-00

A device known as Nokia X7-00 has been caught on camera, although not so detailed but in a video can be seen that device has four speakers located at each corner

With the four speakers installed on the Nokia X7-00, certainly brought this phone is a mobile entertainment or entertainment phone that features Audio interesting.

If the view of the display screen, it is confirmed that the X7-00 Nokia mobile phone uses the Symbian operating system, maybe a little bit disappointing for some users because the phone was not using the latest operating system being released Nokia, namely MeeGo.

For screen resolution is also quite disappointing because it only produces 360 x 640, very small as 4 inch screen, but hopefully this will change

In X7-00 is reportedly going to use 450 MB of internal memory with a RAM of 245 MB, 8MP resolution camera and there is a microUSB and a battery that can not be removed

To be more exact, we wait for the official announcement from Nokia.

Nokia N00

A prototype of the Nokia N00 mobile phone suddenly appeared on the eBay auction site. The phone is believed to be the successor of the Nokia N86 is not so present to the market. The prototype of this phone can also be directly used like other phones, no beret and looking very rarely used.

What is clear is that the alleged cell phone Nokia N87 mobile phone is seen as an official production of Nokia and not as Chinese product. The phone was found in a bar in the unlocked state and functioning optimally.

The prototype Nokia N00 has a sliding design with a keypad or older, Carl Zeiss 12MP camera, Xenon flash, and Wide Angle lens. But, this phone may not be marketed because it focuses on the Nokia N8 which uses base Symbian ^3 and also has a 12MP camera.
